    New Tires Coming Soon

So.....did a lot of research, pricing, asking for opinions.........and still no firm decision. Might come down to which tires are on sale, best deal relative to the best quality.

Going up to 37s.....choices so far have been possibly:

    Cooper STTs
    BFG KM2s
    Goodyear MTR Kevlars

Chime in while you can......hope to have 'em by mid January.

Cooper or BFGs. The Goodyears wear too fast.
Goodyears are true 37s and BFGs aren't 37" tall however.

I say the Toyos. Never heard of Goodyear, BFg, or Cooper.

Ive got Nittos and they are not too bad either

If that's your thing, may we suggest the Firestone PedoGrippers? There are only three groups that don't like them. Cops, Dateline, and everyone else.

    I thought Kumho made them.

That is the illegal Japanese "Back Door" brand orginally marketed by ToBooCoo. The Firestone PedoGrippers are marketed towards the younger generation. Were the KumHo "Back Door" PedoGrippers are marketed toward Urban Street Walkers that get paid in chicletts and cigerettes.

Considering people haven't been able to get MTR's (especially in a 37) for quite a while now, I'd say that you're limited to the top two. But what about Toyo's or Nitto's, like Greybeard suggested? Other than people bitching about they're a heavier tire, I haven't heard many complaints about either.

Also...this month's Jp magazine is all about tires and tire ratings and such.

Toyos and Nittos are heavier, but are also on the higher end of the price scale. Plus, they tend to be more readily available in a 13.5 aspect ratio, where as I am looking for a 12.5.

The Coopers are a good copy and available in the size I'd like......and wayyyyyy cheaper. Plus, have heard from some folks that they are getting some good mileage out of them.

And Lika......what the hell am I gonna do with 40s???

Just get the BFG KM2's! They are a good tire for on and off road. 40k on my last set of 35's before I went to 37's.

Great tread for Rocks, Mud, etc. Plus, a thick side wall for those pesky stumps.

The Nitto Trail Grapplers are a 12.5 width for a 37.

40k, Ike? That is some shit mileage! hehehe....

Just pushed the 80k mark on my BFG A/Ts. I know no other tire is going to give me life like that, but a lot of folks have said the Toyos and Coopers will get 65k.
