    Top drive shafts?

So. After breaking the drag link last month... I also apparently bent the aftermarket front drive shaft. That nasty vibration I thought was coming from my tires for the last 2 months was actually the front shaft getting ready to disintegrate. Yay.

Looking for a quality replacement. Needs u joints on both ends. I hear a Tom Woods shaft is the shit... but $$$$$.

The stats: 13 JKU 6" lift.

(if any of this sounds stupidly written... FUCK YOU I'M A CHICK I'M DOING THE BEST I CAN )

Tom Wood DS's are good but make sure you request spicer U joints. The default U joint they send out is their "Gold Seal" joints. I think Gold Seal is spanish for "complete piece of shit". But the DS and yokes from Tom are great.

Adams and JE reel are nice as well.

Heard that on the spicers. Thanks guys :)

Disconnecting the drive shaft was stupid easy. Kinda scurred about going with the tom woods system and how complex it will be *for me* to replace the yoke.

Yokes come off pretty easy with strong air gun. The nuts holding on the yokes are pretty big, 1 1/8, 1 1/4" or 1 5/16 I think. Get those sockets and you can do it. HF has a set of the big sockets for pretty damn cheap.

I'd be happy to show you my shaft, but let's talk about your Jeep first.

Yes, the Tom Woods are a bit pricey but well worth it. They stand by the product and if you treat them well (lube them, not just ignore them), they will last you a long time.

Adams DS in Vegas are really good, too. You can give them a call and let them know what you've got and they will work with you.

    Now let's talk about me......

Honestly I'm a little disappointed with y'all. I fully expected taking advantage of this opportunity with a barrage of photos of your "shafts".

Oh well. A girl can only try.......
