    My new 4x4

Just finished the graphics on my new county ride.
    2015 Tahoe pursuit package 4x4!
This thing is almost too nice for a patrol vehicle.
Wood on the dash- well wood colored plastic, leather trimmed doors n dash. Backup camera, etc.
Only goofy thing is cloth back seats.
Not good for prisoners, as they often leave uhhh 'icky' stuff during transport. Blood, urine etc. So when they do the cage and stuff, its gonna have to get a vinyl cover in the back.
It goes to the outfitter soon for lights, radio, cage, etc.
My first brand new patrol vehicle.
My old black n white 2wd was closing in on 200k miles of rough county roads and occasional 130mph highway shots.

can I get my meds in a Princess Leia Pez dispenser please?

Very cool. That is weird about the back seat.

Nice ride. Seems like SUVs are the ride these days for the law. Noted in California and Nevada highway patrols. Cloth seats are a mistake. Enjoy.

Tahoes are great police vehicles. They're making cars so small now, even full size is small.
Especially when you're big guy, add body armor and a batman utility belt and they get even smaller.
Plus being a rural county, we have a lot of dirt roads so the pickup chassis is needed for durability.
Gotta have room for me, all my gear and still have room for a cage and a couple of occupants.
My 2wd police pkg Tahoe has been awesome.
    And it runs!
My county is 920 sq miles and a lot of times there's just one of us out, so you may find yourself 30+ miles from a priority call when it comes out and 10-15 of those miles may be twisty dirt roads. So we spend a lot of time at high speeds responding to calls. Plus with the speed limit being 75 on the highways, clocking ppl at 95-100 isn't too uncommon and it takes awhile to catch up even at high speeds. With close to 200k on the clock my old 09 feels steady and controllable well into triple digits.

That's a nice ride. Our chp are driving new explorers. Not sure what they are using for radar but my escort rdd has a hell of a time trying to detect them.

These are the beasts and i am sure that having things experience in such a way would certainly be helpful to us and that's the kind of way which is helpful for us and because that is such a help with the uses we have for a ride it works big time.
