JK Ball Joint Time - Reid?

Time to put ball joints on the JK. Does anyone have experience with the Reid Racing steering knuckles? They seem to move the steering up a bit higher also. Are they worth the money while I have it down to drop those in? Thoughts? Suggestions?

How much lift are you running on your vehicle?

I like how they get the tie rod up out of the way, but it also flips/relocates the drag link up for 3"+ lifts (not what I have)

    Another plus, they look bad-ass.

I have 3" MetalCloak game changer lift with all of the steering components from Carolina Metal Masters. Also running Teraflex sway bars, not sure if they are going to get in the way.

JK Ball Joint Time - Reid?

For the money, I don't think they are worth it.
    1. It only moves the TR up 1.5 inches. If you hit it now, you are going to hit it with the Reid's

    2. When was the last time you heard someone breaking the stock knuckle?

I have Reid's, and was surprised at how much less I get hung up on the tie rod. They made a big difference. I would recommend them. They won't cause any issues with your swaybar.

you wouln't happen to have a before and after shoot of your front end would you. I can find lots of pictures of the Reid's and the stock knuckle together but can't find a good before and after of the front end...I know it raises the TR up 1.5 inches but want to see what that looks like installed.

i have them (they came on my used axles) also i did break a stock knuckle, well the tie rod mount broke off. i only have a 2.5" lift and i dont hit the frame with the drag link but i think its cause my front shocks are to short compression wise and are bottoming out before it can hit. when i get the correct shocks i plan to notch the frame.
