Brake light and code diagnostic help need

The brake light is on on my dash. Only comes on after driving a half mile or so.
    Have several codes.
    C1011, c123f, c1020, c1015, u1417.
All are speed sensor codes and steering angle codes. And ideas on a diagnosis?

A buddy of mine had some brake codes and one of his abs wires was ripped in half, it was pretty easy to spot, right next to his brake lines, had a braided black plastic shield around the wire, might want to gently tug on them and follow the lines to look at the connectors. I don't know what his specific codes were. It seems like that whole circuit is pissed right now and it's something easy to search for.

#1. I like to gently tug on mine from time to time.

#2. Used to get those lights on slight inclines before reprogramming with a procal. Check everything and maybe consider a programmer.
