Bungee instead of zip ties for sway bar.

I was reminded just a few minutes ago to make this thread. I used to use zip ties to hold my sway bars out of the way when wheeling, recently I came up with a much better and easier idea. A bungee cord, used it on two trips now without any problems. You can see from the pictures I have a body lift but I don't think it really matters. Logically I should thread the hook all the way through but it's held up just fine so far.

Always used to use bungees before I got the TF kit with the upper mounts. Way better than zip ties.

Though I might move this to JW's section for the beginners.

Great idea. I ran that way before ditching the sway bars. Worked wonderfully and so easy.

This is a really good idea... no clipping zipties and still keeps the links out of the way.

Yes sir bungees work great and much simpler than searching for zipties at the trail head.

Dirty saves his ziptyes for fender repairs. I used bugees until I got the Synergy mounts. Which I like.
Hey Dickhead, get out of the fast lane! Unless you're passing of course.

Pretty cool, my Velcro strap pooped out. The bungees should tie me over until I break down and buy the currie or Tera flex sway bar thingamabob

Still using the same bungee form 5 years ago. wrap it around the bumper and hook to the sway bar and your off.
