How to Fix a Smelly Jeep

If you are like me and have neighbors that roll your windows down at night when it's raining, or have co-workers who secretly take your top off right before a massive thunderstorm, you may want to stay tuned to this Mod.

It has recently rain for about 6 days straight in Pensacola, well it still is and looks like it might be 10. Not like little piddle paddle rain either. Massive acts of Gods urination have fallen from the heavens, and I have these A hole neighbors that keep rolling my windows down at night. They have even gone as far as taking the windows off my soft top. I get to wake up and have to ride to work with a seriously wet bottom side. Then my co-workers think it is "funny" or something to take my soft top off right before a thunderstorm that brings 4 inches of rain in an hour is barreling down.

Needless to say, my jeep smells like a vagina of a obese woman with arms so short, she can't wipe herself.

Here is my Mod to remedy the situation.

First stop. Walmart to pick this up.

Now I know what you are thinking. James, how big is this contraption if it can clear such and enormous stench????

Here it is next to a bottle of wine (standard bottle, not the big boy one)

next to a can of 27oz chili beans

    Box of chili kit?

    Can of 8oz tomato sauce.

Lastly, 36 oz of ground beef.

Now I know what you are thinking.... How hard is the install, and is this something I can do myself.?

YES YOU CAN DO THIS YOURSELF!

Simply remove the plastic wrapping, PINK saftey grate, and tin foil cover (please make sure to leave the paper cover ON the device)

Replace the pink saftey grate back onto the device.

Now you are ready for the final install onto you Jeep!

Now this was surprisingly easy to install and the fitment was spot on.

    View form the drivers side.

SPOILER ALERT Sneak peak of my custom hand fabricated one off Seat Cover mod. But this is just the lower. I have pics of the upper portion, but that will be a different write-up. (164% Waterproof)

Now, Who does this mod apply to and how can I use it to my benefit?

If you are a guy/gal without a garage and frequently "forget" to roll your windows up or put your top back on when it rains, this will help you.

If you are a guy/gal who just ate some chile and need more beer for the after party and force on out on the way to WaWa and soil your seats, this may help you.

Even if you are a Desert Guy where it doesn't rain but have a girlfriend who has a vaginal secretion condition (I think the kids call them squirters these days) and she likes to do the whoopy in the Jeep, this may help you.

I know some of you haters will say "take the carpet out and let it dry out", and that would be an awesome idea, but when you don't have a garage for it to dry out it, that just won't work.

I will report back later to update with results. Please feel free to ask any questions.

I should have added for the 4 door guys, if you have a Unicorn that pee's in the back, this may help you.

You should take the carpet out and let it dry. Lol

I stick a dehumidifier in there and run it overnight
This seems way to technical for me, is it really as easy as you make it sound?

Are you kidding? My jeep runs on Unicorn pee. It's actually pretty good, you should try it yourself.

Oh yeah I forgot, you bought the 2 door. Nevermind. But thanks for the write up anyway.
Hey Dickhead, get out of the fast lane! Unless you're passing of course.

Well.....I'm always telling James, "Hey, don't forget to roll your windows up?" Of course I get yeah yeah, I'll get it, knowing damn well that's not going to happen. So I would be the "good wife" and go roll then up in the middle of the night because I hear the thunder. BTW this happens all the time!!

Now, when I hear the thunder, I just lay in bed and giggle knowing someone is going to be pissed when they wake up!!! SO bottom line serves him right!!!

I would, but I have no where to put it inside. Wife doesn't link stinky carpet in the house. If I leave it ouside, it gets more wet from rain.

You should be fine. Although it is imperative that you keep the windows rolled up and top ON. If you do not do this step, you will just be absorbing moisture from the atmosphere which could lead to global warming.

Great write-up. Love the size comparisons to the dinner ingredients lol.

A friend of mine recommends leaving an opened bag of regular charcoal in a car if you plan to store it for a while to help with odors. How do you think that would do in this case and what is the price difference between a bag of store brand charcoal and this?

Easy is a relative term. I'd say if you successfully completed 2nd grade, you can do this mod. I have found, through personal and professional experience, that what is easy for me, might be a grueling task for others.

Price was $3.95 at Wal-Mart. I hear charcoal works on odor, but this mod has space age polymers fused with charcoal that will remove odor as well as soak up any moisture within a specific radius. I would imagine using just charcoal would be the equivalent of buying a Nokia flip phone when you can get a IPhone4 for free with a 2 year agreement.

Does that tub measure true to size? Will the big tub bend stock axles or should I go with the smaller tubs until I truss and gusset? My dealer told me if I use a non-Mopar desiccant agent it will void my warranty.

Its true that you must use hoat specific desiccant to ensure no warranty issues w Chrysler.

Anyone know if unicorn pee is hoat complaint?

Let me know, I'm pretty good at opening lids and removing foil covers.

I am thinking of just taking mine to the dealership for this.

    SAFETY FIRST!!!
Always wear safety gloves and goggles when removing lids and foil. The foil can leave a pretty nasty cut and you could get the space age polymers in your eyes, leaving you with forever red-eye.

I've removed the carpet permanently months ago. Will this method still work?
