Well I haven't been able to touch her for almost two months. Today I finally got the front double triangulated suspension all mocked up and flexed to check for clearances. Everything seems good, the lower control arm and driveshaft are about to make out at full droop but it does clear barely. Tomorrow I think I'll fully weld it all up.

I agree just whatever works. But I am putting on a 12 in led bar on my new bumper. Not much of a light guy though so that should do it.

Finished a lot of welding today. Still need to make the ram mount when the knuckles come in. But shit it's standing on it's own again and 16in coilovers are long. Lol

You going to make that brace removable?

I picked up some of those inside tube clamps for mine... a bit more than a simple flange, but cleaner imo.

Shit's looking really good bud... I wish mine was as close to being done.

Yeah it's removable. The cross brace bolts to the towers with four bolts on each side. I love those tube connectors it's just cheaper for me to make shit. Lol

Over the weekend I got another lucky break. I met a guy who worked for Vortec racing division. We were talking about my Jeep and when I said I was doing full hydraulic steering he asked what was I going to use for cooling. I said just a cheap radiator style cooler from Pepboys. He shook his head and handed me this, a Setrab series 9 cooler that measures 16x5.75x2.
Holy shit this is a badass full blown racing oil cooler. He said I will never have a cooling issue with this. Again I love knowing peeps in the racing industry. :D

It's funny you say that. I was at a offroad Swapmeet when I met the guy. Just before he gave me that cooler there was a kid looking at a mile marker 9k winch I was selling. He had a xj and was broke. He showed me his rig and was just getting into wheeling. He asked if I could hold it for him and he would make payments. I said how about you just take it for free because every Jeep needs a winch and to remember that jeepers help eachother and to pass it along.
So yes karma is alive and kicking. :)
