I stumbled upon this one. It was hidden in the back of a row of Arrogant Bastards at Total Wine. I've had it before but it's been a year or more. Typical bastard. Slow drinker, lots of bite from hops and alcohol. Another love it or hate it beers. I love it.

    New Holland, Mad Hatter IPA
Very solid, nice deep hop flavor. Got a little bit of an odd aftertaste. Almost like light bourbon. Took me a minute to figure it out. But it's light

Found a beer today, had to share the name. Didn't buy it, not a beer day, wicked name.

Lol. We get the flying dog here. They do have some interesting labeling.

I saw one a couple years ago "good beer, no shit" on the side of the box.

    EDIT>
Good read. I had no idea. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flying_Dog_Brewery

Still in love with the stouts.

I thought I had gone too far when I took the first whiff of this graham cracker stout from frenchlayer's neck of the woods. But OMG wow this is amazingly smooth for a brew that is 9.3 ABV. And tasted nothing like I expected.

    Beer Drinkers Come on out

Just cracked a growler of Wild Heaven's Emergency Drinking Beer. It's a Gose style...basically unfiltered wheat beer.

Wild Heaven is in Decatur and makes some good beers but this one is a total bust. Just really low on flavor.

The picture looks about 10 times better than the taste

Enjoyed a few of these the other night. Not bad. Didn't blow my skirt up, but enjoyable.

Not sure what hosting site people are using. Scott said something about Facebook breaking links or something.

I always use photobucket and never had a problem. I am considering getting a premium account to backup all my pics there.

They're all showing up for me. Maybe it's your settings or something at work blocking it.

I had a few while we were in St. Kitts.

Not a great beer brewed in Trinidad and Tobago. Reminded me of Heineken which is probably one of my least favorite needs of all time. But, dammit the view made the beer taste better.

This one was a tad bit better.

I also had a Carib. That one wasn't bad at all. Corona/Kalik kind of beer.

Had this one the other night. I'm a big fan of Not Your Father's Root Beer and I think this one is better. This one's like 7% as opposed to NYFRB at 5%, but it's so much smoother.
