Installed a new Viair 400C in the TJ

Well the compressor that came with the TJ crapped out, as I expected it to. I called up Brett at Jeep Swag and he had a Viair 400C at my door the next afternoon, with an awesome price tag! We've only had the 400C in my wife's JK for a short period so far but I've been very impressed with it, so I didn't hesitate to order the same one for my TJ. I was able to install it last night, didn't take too much dicking around to get the new one in place of the old one. It's holding pressure like a champ, and I have lockers again!

    Here's the old compressor..

    And the new one..

It's nice when all you have to do is swap out the compressor. I will be adding on board air in the near future

Yep! Much less of a pain in the ass to just swap out the compressor. If you have a JK I'd recommend Brett's kit, just the same as it was recommended to me. I got a great price through Dane (913 here) at Dirty Dog Off Road, check him out at least before purchasing somewhere else.
